Hello, my name is Tamara

My journey has been an interesting one and yes... there is a story. My friends tell me there's a book in there somewhere but for now I will aim to keep it brief.

As one of the youngest Executive Headteachers in the country, I led two schools in challenging contexts, whilst making sustained positive changes. I have also established my own successful education consultancy, working with over 100 primary, secondary and special schools as an EAL leadership specialist. My experience includes leading a range of schools including those in areas of high deprivations, small and large schools and establishing a new primary school.

I have always been driven by kindness, respect and high standards for children and adults alike, alongside prioritising high quality professional development.

After having my family and running my own consultancy, I returned to Executive Headship for a further five years, before facing a period of personal upheaval that required a significant reset. Taking control, I transformed the challenges into opportunities. Rising like a phoenix was a bumpy ride and as an avid lifelong learner I learnt to appreciate the invaluable lessons along the way!

My passion for education remains steadfast, and my focus is now on working with educators to strengthen individual and team values- led leadership. I understand how vital effective and sustainable leadership is to the current and future success of the education system. The challenges are undeniably significant but I truly believe the opportunities are there. Schools really can be a great places to work and learn. When leaders have clarity, compassion and courage it paves the way for better working environments and great learning that is fit for the future.

My Approach

I partner with you to understand your unique context, define your goals, and create a tailored package, helping you and your team achieve success through confidential, values-driven coaching and training that balances high performance with kindness and integrity.

Through coaching and training, I help leaders deepen their self-awareness, gain clarity, step into their stretch zone and create long term, meaningful changes that impacts well beyond the workplace.

I draw on my extensive experience of designing and delivering professional development packages, as well as over 15 years experience of using coaching approaches in education. I believe that professional development should be personalised to the school and individuals involved.

Leadership development programmes use the principles outlined in The My Delta Framework which includes the option of the Head, Heart and Habits Leadership Audit. I guide leaders to develop their leadership competences (the head)  that aligns to their values and their own unique leadership style (the heart) so that they can be their best selves, build sustainable healthy habits and achieve outcomes they are truly proud of.
